Its Lane-Keeping System detects unintentional lane drifting, issuing alerts as needed. If unintentional lane drifting continues, the Ford Escape displays a coffee cup icon.
Auto High Beams
Toggling between low and high beams is the law, but it's distracting. Fortunately, the Ford Escape has Auto High-Beam Headlamps. In pitch-black and low-light scenarios the high beams activate automatically. They toggle back down to low beams when ambient lighting improves or when the system senses oncoming motorists or taillights of other vehicles ahead of you.
