At Sternberg Automotive Group, we understand that you want to know the powertrain stats for any vehicle you are considering purchasing. That is why we are here to break down what your options are. Which powertrain matches your driving needs?
A 2.3L four-cylinder that is turbocharged is one of your enticing options. It can make 300-horsepower, along with 310 lb-ft of torque, for your commutes. If you consider yourself a performance enthusiast, you will also want to test drive the twin-turbo V6. It makes up to 400-horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque when it is being used in the Explorer ST.
Rear-wheel drive is the standard setup for all models except the Platinum. For that luxurious trim, all-wheel drive is the only drivetrain. If you find you like the features found in a different model but still want all-wheel drive, it is available for all trim levels.
